I use to work at this daycare and I am now an elementary school teacher, so I have the inside scoop. Cathy, the long time director, has been there from the very beginning and this facility is like her third child. They keep up to date with best early educational practices and keep the childcare center and office clean and sanitary. The staff is wonderful and at least half of them are working towards some sort of degree in education. Their attitudes towards the children are always positive. Jen and Cathy always make sure the staff is up to date with needed training as well as attend other classes that build on early ed. knowledge. Most importantly, they are always trying to incorporate additional perks for the kids, such as soccer, gymnastics, field trips for the older kids in the summer, the halloween parade, the christmas recital, sports day (its kind of like their own olympics), donuts for dads, muffins for moms... I could go on, but I won't since I actually want you to read my whole post. Just make sure you try get your kid in early, they have very few openings for 6 weeks to 5 years. Summer camp they try not to have to send anyone away.
