Almost a year after 6 months of renovations and I am still reaping the benefits! My winter heating bill has been cut in half thanks to all the work Doug and his crew have done! Everything from a bathroom remodel, to crawl space work, and complete renovation of outside deck area and all the details in between like new lamp posts and landscaping. They do it all and with speed, accuracy and communication throughout every project. Well worth the money invested to improve my home! The value has significantly increased. Thanks to Doug and his crew of professionals!

Was looking for a contractor to repair and paint some windows, doors and additional items at my moms house. I saw Doug at the drive thru at the bank ask him to roll down his window and got his information. Called him when I got home he came like the next day to my moms house. He started the job the very next week and finished it in two days. He is very professional and a all around Great Guy! I will have him do addition work for my mom and myself. I would recommend him very highly to all my friends and neighbors.

Needed to get roof replaced and bedroom ceiling fixed and painted. Job done on time and as expected.

During the highly destructive storm this past May our house suffered major damage: chimney blown down, holes in the roof, severe water damage to a ceiling and structural damage to the deck. It was a real mess! Fortunately we were referred to Kenny's Home Improvement and could not be more pleased with the results. All during the repair work Doug Jones worked very closely with us in explaining each step in the rebuilding process and gave a highly accurate timeline when each would be completed. The work performed by Doug and his very professional crew was of the highest quality, much higher than any previous work we've had done. Just as importantly, Doug's initial estimate was extremely competitive and the work was completed for the estimated amount. From now on any repair or remodeling work that we need will be done by Kenny's Home Improvement. The highest recommendation!

We have called on Doug for many issues that have developed in and outside of the home. Everything from sheet rock repair, water damage, shower stall support , leak repairs, roof replacement, painting and each time his work has been top notch. His employees are skilled and considerate. I use him for repairs with confidence and would use him for a new custom build. I know the work be will be done right.

We made the right choice with Kenny's Home Improvement. Our bathroom renovation installed a new tiled shower, replaced toilet and sink, refinished the nearly 200-year old heart of pine floor, new paint, new lighting and switches, and new cabinetry. The project was completed in a professional manner, on time, and in keeping with the prepared estimate by Doug, his crew, and subcontractors (all licensed professionals in their trade which was fantastic peace of mind). Impressive customer service. Doug was there for us to answer last minute questions, work the details and solve necessary "work arounds" common with any renovation; but best of all was how they left the space. It was professionally cleaned and ready for use when the job was done. Amazing!

I had a bad roof job. I had leaks and the skylights I had installed also leaked. After getting no solution from the roofer that did the job I called Kennys. From the first conversation I had with Doug to the day the work was completed Doug and his crew have been wonderful. From fixing the leaks to answering all my questions I couldn't have asked for better service. I highly recommend Kennys home improvement. The prices are very reasonable as well.

We had a major flood in our home. We had met with several contractors. Kenny's Home Improvement was by far our favorite. We met Doug Jones and knew instantly that his company was one the one we wanted. His professionalism outshined all. Now that the work has been almost completed, we are ecstatic. His crew did an excellent job. They were very professional and accommodating. The work they did was amazing. Our home has been transformed. They went above and beyond our expectations. We just had Kenny's do several home repairs and were very pleased with the level of service. They have an extensive team of professionals, so work is completed on schedule. The owner, Doug oversees that all work has been completed as per the contract. It is relieving to know of this type of service in an area where that is so hard to find.

I have been doing almost everything in finishing a section of our home, but I did not feel comfortable in doing the tile work of a shower. It had a fiberglass base and soap/shampoo niche along with an aluminum corner seat - all of which needed to be covered in tile. Doug did not hesitate to respond to my request for help and get involved in the middle of this project. His bid for labor was very reasonable (I had the materials) and he could do the work in the near future. When the time came to do the work, he came to make sure that his crew knew exactly what I wanted. Two and a half days later, I had a shower that exceeded my expectations and everyone who sees it says how great it looks. Doug would always call if there was any change in plans or there was a delay in starting the work day.

I first met Doug Jones when I needed a roof estimate. Doug's bid not only was the lowest in price, it was the highest in quality. He used better materials and went beyond what "code" says you need to do. So rather than the bare minimum, I got best quality for a cheaper price than bare minimum that the other companies quoted me. My roof was done with the utmost quality and professionalism.

A few months later I discovered a major structural problem with my foundation as the result of an IMPROPERLY installed stone patio several years ago. Doug came in and quickly re-assured me that this was fixable. Once again his bid was outstanding and once again the quality was beyond the "bare" minimum you would get with other contractors. The work involved many many hours of hand digging the foundation, taking up the stone patio, re - grading the landscape, fixing the foundation and sealing it, putting in proper drains and putting it all back together. The absolute amazing thing was that his workers in the most meticulous manner, put every single stone back in its exact place and if they could not get the stones to lay right, they took them back up, re - graded the area and started all over again to make it right.

My patio is now graded correctly to take the water away from the house and the foundation is now 100% properly drained and sealed.

If you are not using Kenny's Home Improvement your probably paying too much and getting a lesser quality result.

After talking with numerous builders in the area, we decided to go with Doug Jones of Kenny's Home Improvment Company to finish our basement. I have to say we made an excellent choice. Doug made great suggestions on the approach and went the extra mile when it came to the attention to detail. We were blown away by the end result. Most important was Doug's flexibility in working with us and listening to what we wanted. I can't say enough about the work he performed. I'd highly recommend him above anyone else in the area. Great work Doug, can't wait to start using our new basement...

Doug Jones of Kenny's Home Improvement Company has helped me out with my recent purchased home, mainly the roof. I knew buying the house I would need a new roof soon and I tried to go through my Home Warranty company to get the roof repaired because it was leaking. The Home Warranty company picked a roofing company out of Winchester and they where a joke, showed up put some calk on the roof around the leaking skylight and left without a phone call or even ringing the doorbell. Lets just say the skylight was still leaking and I tried to contact this roofing company and they kept ignoring my calls or saying they will send someone out. After 3 weeks of this I just gave up called my Home Warranty company I will pay for the repairs myself and called Kenny's Home Improvements, Doug was over the next day of the call and within a week he was on my roof with a few of his guys replacing a part of the roof because the wood was rotten. He is back again this spring to replace the rest of the roof with a great price and the work does not suffer either. I would recommend these guys to any of my friends or family, and will go through them for some of my other projects I need done to my house.

The work has always been done on time, within agreed budget and to my complete and lasting satisfaction. The variety of jobs is remarkable. He solved a major drainage problem in my yard; repaired hole in my roof caused by fallen tree and repaired all associated water damage; installed an 85 ft. retaining wall to replace a concrete wall that was falling apart and re-landscaped the ground above; installed new kitchen appliances, including wall oven, cooktop, dishwasher and sink; sealed and stained my decks and fences; installed quarry tile on kitchen floor, and ceramic tile on my kitchen counter tops, bathroom floors and tub surrounds; refinished much of a 100 yr old grand piano; replaced well pump; removed large and small trees; custom built CD/VHS/DVD cabinets; installed bike rack on my car; restored the frame of an antique bird cage; replaced hinges on an antique violin case; and many more jobs. Meticulous work, I am so happy with Doug Jones and all of the professionals who have worked on my house. They started on my house two days after signing the contract, which is outstanding in my opinion. I had recessed lights installed in my kitchen, wood floors laid, painting in my entryway, locks installed, etc and everything has been done top notch. Doug's earned a lifelong customer! We have had several jobs done by Kenny's Home Improvement, and its owner Doug Jones, and we have been very satisfied. They have remodeled two bathrooms, including replacing a toilet, and installing a whole-house water filter. They have also cut some trees and fixed a fence that a tree fell on, power-washed the house and deck, and repainted the deck. Whenever we need something done, we call Kenny's. They always show up when promised, and finish a job when expected, and you know how much it is going to cost. They are responsible (Doug has access to our house), and they always clean up, never leaving a mess. We definitely recommend Kenny's Home Improvement, and owner, Doug Jones.

Kenny’s Home Improvement has remodeled our kitchen, installed a new roof, and gutters, replaced a skylight, repaired our chimmney and installed a new well pump at our place in Shannondale.

They also built a custom shed and retaining wall on our property.



If you need anything done to your home Kenny’s is the only place you need to go. All of the work they have done was professionally finished on time or ahead of schedule for a reasonable price. I highly recommend Kenny’s Home Improvement for ANY job large or small.

The recent storm in July caused extensive damage to my home. I called Kenny's Home Improvement Co. They made an appointment to give me a detailed estimate. They were on time for the appointment date. Doug Jones, the owner, personally came out and spoke with me. The job was completed in a timely and professional manner. I have recommended him to my friends. After speaking with my friends I was made aware that he has been in business for many years.
