I was at this particular Walmart the other day to get makeup in the cosmetics section. As I was walking around, a sales associate named Rhonda followed closely behind me. She even went so far as to hover over me while I was kneeling to look at eyeliner. I asked for assistance from manager on the floor, and she told me to call Walmart's general phone number to complain. Nothing was done about this sales associate. The next week, as I walked past the makeup section I noticed Rhonda was still there. She was staring me down and smiling as she did it while I was simply trying to walk down the isle. This store practices racial profiling and will do nothing if you compain about it. I know this job doesn't pay much but that is no excuse for an associate to go out of their way to make a customer feel uncomfortable.
