Center/Sylvester Elementary School provides educational opportunities for students. It offers classes in kindergarten through grade four. The elementary school offers academic curriculum that includes classes in a variety of subjects that include art, music, wellness and library. Center/Sylvester Elementary School also provides instructive classes in music theory, rhythm, song, instruments and dance. It also organizes counseling sessions. The school maintains a parent-teacher association that group of parent volunteers who raises funds for student programs and materials and resources that enhance the curriculum. Center/Sylvester Elementary School organizes physical education programs that promotes gross and fine motor skill development and includes coordination and social interaction activities. Its building features more than 30 classrooms, as well as a kitchen, cafeteria, staff and volunteer workroom, gymnasium, media center, and music and visual arts classroom.
