Shifa Urgent Care is an urgent care and walk in clinic. We provide immediate medical care for acute medical conditions such as sore throats, sinus infections, skin problems, gynecological problems, etc. We also provide care for the exacerbation of chronic conditions, such as hypertension, diabetes, arthritis and asthma, and for minor cuts fractures and sprains. Urgent care centers are a valuable addition to patients health care options. We provide services for non-life threatening medical conditions, alleviating the health care burden on the emergency room system. By providing services seven days a week, with extended hours, and excepting walk ins, we provide patients with access to medical care for acute problems, when their primary care doctors office cannot service walk ins due to scheduling constraints. Shifa Urgent Care has a multi-lingual staff, so patient's speaking Arabic, Bengali, or Wolof can be served effectively. We will soon be adding a Spanish members to our staff.
