The food is good and the service is great.

I live in Hamtramck, and quite frankly all the bakeries are good, but I personally think New Palace is the best. They have a much larger selection of goods and the most friendly staff. My friends rave when I bring butter rolls over and the French bread is delightfully crusty outside and very soft inside. They usually have at least 15 different breads to choose from every day. The layer cakes are positively beautiful and moist and they will write on it what you want while you wait. I love the tutti-frutti Danish, coffee cakes are flavorful and they have beautiful cupcakes - you'll love everything you get there. They also now carry only the best Kowalski lunch meats and cheeses.
