Hampton

I became a customer of Hampton Home Store in Hampton IA in 2008. I have purchased 5 major appliances from this business. My 3rd purchase from this business was an Amana microwave. I also purchased the extended service plan that they offered. I purchased the microwave and service plan on 2-13-2010. When my microwave quit working on 2-5-2013, not quite 3 years later, I called Hampton Home Store for repair. I was told Lance would be out the next morning. Later that day, I received a call from Hampton Home Store stating that they no longer sell Amana microwaves and can not do the repairs because they are not licensed to do so. They also said they had trouble getting their money from 4G warranty. They said I could call Sears. I feel this is B/S. Hampton Home Store sold me the service plan. I purchased it partly because I knew I could get any service work done by the business that sold me the microwave. I have had other issues with the other appliances that I purchased from them and have been disappointed with their lack of concern for satisfying their loyal customers. I will never, ever deal with them again. If your smart, you won't either.
