I have been going here for years, and have consistently had very good food. Chinese food can generally mess with my stomach, but I have NEVER had an issue with food quality at Peking Tokyo(Peking #1). In fact, the Chinese food is probably the best I have ever had, and I have eaten Chinese food from probably 15 different restaurants in my day from 6 or 7 different locations. The Sushi is also very good, and probably better than average, yet not as good as a few Japanese places I have eaten. I have gotten consistently good service over the years, although I have to say in the beginning a few years ago it was slow. One reviewer made a comment that the "Manager", "Darrel" was rude, but I believe you are talking about Darren, the co owner, and although the wife can seem short(a communication issue), Darren has ALWAYS been pleasant. I really like this restaurant, and we have taken quite a few out of town friends here, and they have always been pleased.

Ordered food for carryout. Order was incomplete and terrible. Manager Darrel promised my son to make good on it, which we assumed he would be honorable and do so. Son called back and Darrel refused to honor. Manager accused parent of trying to get free food which was NOT the case. Manager was condescending, disrespectful, and insulting to me. Will never eat there again. Darrel should be fired for not making good on a customers order as he agreed to do, and then upon calling back, Darrel refused to honor same. Poor customer service, food, missing food and very rude manager. TERRIBLE!!! The customer was definately NOT appreciated at this restaurant, and if you receive poor food, poor service, it appears there is no one that cares at this restaurant. If I could give NO STAR, I WOULD!! Go to J&P Pizza & Subs, great service, great people, they truly care about their customers, and customer service and great food is top on their list.

We placed our order for delivery because this is the only Chinese delivery inn our area. They are 4 miles from our house and had to call us 6 times to try to find it after i gave detailed directions and they told me that they had GPS. The man who called spoke hardly any English and did not under stand a word i said nor could i understand a word he said. He wanted us to come meet him a half mile from our house at the high school to pick up our food from him! I called to cancel the order and they were rude to me insisting that this time they would send "the American Girl" to deliver our food. We ended up calling the other place and going to pick it up because we didn't want our cold second hand delivered food. Rude, and hard to understand, either send the "American Girl" the first time or don't offer delivery if you cant navigate your area.

Really great family oriented resteraunt - good food, wonderful fresh baked bread. Cheerful service and reasonable prices.
