When you check in the lobby is very pretty. Then you get your room....a/c doesnt blow cold air, outdoor pool closed in june...its louisiana...its HOT by 7 am. The indoor hot tub looks like someone had diarrhea in it, but the indoor pool is ok. The breakfast is good. I opened one of the drawers and found that someone left their dope here. And behind the fridge was a dirty baby diaper. Wont b back here...I thought I was getting decent and clean but guess not.

I am totally eaten by bed bugs. I stayed a little over one week only to wake up itching until I figured it out. I took pictures of the bug on the bed and the trails of bed bug stains. I showed them to the manager and he refused to refund me or give me any help. I had to bad everything I had in black bags and poison! This place is horrible! While I was moving my black bags into my car to get out of there the owner showed up and refused to look at the bed and instead threatened me?!!! This place needs to be shut down it is a health risk and they know it. The maid told me someone else reported bed bugs two weeks prior. I'm calling the health department tomorrow asap! Do not go here!

This place was horrible. They gave us a crap room to begin with. The TV was nasty. The chair was peeling. Looked like cat tore into it. It had no microwave or refrigerator. The hotel should be torn down or updated. Asked for a new room, got it but card key didn't work. Finally got in the room, the shower had no curtain. Sink water didn't get hot until the next morning. Overall, this hotel stinks. They fool you with the brochure with the lobby area all pretty. While the rooms suck. I recommend not staying at this crappy place. Then they over charged me for such a crappy room. Horrible Horrible hotel. DON'T STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!

Wow, what a gem. This place had everything I was looking for without spending a fortune. My room was very clean and my bed was comfortable. They have a full hot breakfast, not like those other places who just have coffee and muffins. I was shocked. And if that wasn't enough, they even have a free supper for their guests during the week. It's an older property but it seemed to have a lot of character. Great place for the price. Will definitely stay here again.

I would rate this place a zero if I could. First of all, the place should be shut down. Who puts window A/C units in an indoor atrium? This has got to be some kind of code violation. My wife and I were in town for my dad's funeral and we got to the hotel around 10pm. Nobody had turned on the A/C in the room for us before arrival. Its August in Louisiana, enough said. The room was an inferno. Upon further inspection of the room (Room 208) there was wallpaper falling off the walls in the bathroom, bugs smashed on the wall, a water bottle on the side of the bed, trash on the side of the bed, etc. So, 3am rolls around and our room still hasn't cooled off and I have gotten no sleep. Had to get up early for the funeral and getting really frustrated. We are then switched to Room 210 and the A/C worked. It still took over 2 hours to cool the room down enough to get some sleep. We had to get up at 7am to get ready so the max sleep we would get now is 2 hours. The front desk and management would have known that if they did their job. Speaking of the front desk, the people on duty that night should be fired immediately. Rude, condescending, and absolutely no customer service skills. They call themselves the manager on duty but have no managerial authority. Not to mention, the 2nd night we were there, after the funeral we were locked out of our room because the front desk did not code our keys for 2 nights. My wife went down to the desk the morning of check out and talked to the GM and she gave us the first night free. I believe the 2nd night should be free as well due to us being locked out of room with several items brought back from the funeral in our hands, not to mention being talked to rudely by the Front Desk guy( Justin might be his name). This hotel literally screwed up every aspect of hospitality imaginable. The experience we had wasn't worth 2 cents. I am going to find every possible Hotel Review Website and warn people to not stay here. It was the most difficult time of our lives losing a loved one and we get treated like dirt. You people should be ashamed of yourselves, your staff, and your cleanliness.

Very Nice!

We originally went through a third part to book a night at another hotel. Needless to say, we were stuck in a chain-smoking room when we asked for non-smoking. They refused to fix the situation. I was fuming, but I needed a room so I randomly selected one on YP. It is right off the HW and seems to be in the better part of Hammond. 1000% better then The Days In of Hammond! In fact, stay away from there, it is a rough looking area and the rooms stinks. But this place is super nice!! Crystal at the front desk was very nice and very helpful! The room is really nice, and the price was fair. We are certainly staying here from now on!
