Associated Fiberglass Enterprises began in 1959 with the manufacture of pleasure boats. The company uses hand lay-up, spray up, chop-hoop winding and vacuum forming methods of fabrication to process fiberglass reinforced products using polyester, vinyl ester, fire-retardant and corrosion resistant resins. It offers a complete package of services, including design, engineering, pattern work, mold making, fabrication, assembly and shipping. Associated Fiberglass Enterprises produces fiberglass shelters, tanks and vessels, pipe and ductwork, equipment covers, architectural components and specialty products. The company is one of the leaders in fabricating large custom fiberglass steeples in the United States.
