Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School is recognized as a School of Excellence by the Department of Education and enrolls students in grades nine through 12. It offers a variety of academic courses, such as art, business education, computer science, English, history, Latin, mathematics, modern languages, music, theology, science, social studies, and health and physical education. It is a member of the Bicentennial League and offers a variety of sporting activities, such as cross country, soccer, field hockey, tennis, volleyball, golf, basketball, swimming, track, lacrosse and softball. In addition, the school has a student council and parent-teacher organization, which organizes various fundraising events. The high school is located in Gwynedd Valley, Pa.
