Drove 45 minutes to get to this place for our anniversary. We get there, and they "LOST" our reservation. But they stated they'd "try to work us in". We had proof of our reservation tho, because it was emailed to us, so we showed them.

So we stood around 30 min while being totally ignored. The hostess, and they guy (who I THINK was the owner), seemed completely lost and confused. All the while, we are staring at 10 empty tables here and there throughout the room. What the heck??

So, after 30 minutes they'd never bothered ""to work us in", despite all the empty tables. Likewise, it was like we were invisible to them. So I told my wife "to h*ll with this place, let's leave". So we did.

I'm not sure what the draw is about this place anyway. Yeah, it's in an old building. Wow. But the restaraunt is wide open and almost looks like a cafeteria. Even with the promise of immediate seating, I wouldn't go back. Besides, these jackals put a HUGE kink in our anniversary evening.

Best steaks ever! Go fri or sat night if you want one of the best bartenders in Oklahoma! We try and go 2-3 times a month. So far I have enjoyed everything I have tried at Gage's

Poor everything

Worst service ever, I found a hair in my food when I got back to the hotel, paid $10 for 5 tiny stuffed mushrooms, $30 for a wrongly cooked steak. The best part the blue cheese salad dressing but the actual salad was horribly sub-par. We will never be going back.
