Dr. Short treated me for big toe pain. Halux limitus or something that meant big toes wouldn't bend because of arthritis. He was supposed to put implants in both big toes. Instead during surgery and without consulting me he decided I didn't need the implants. He thought I had enough cartilage for my toes to bend again. He was wrong, they never did. So, same problem with more after affects. Nasty scars on both feet and both feet developed bony painful bumps on the surgery area that are the size of marbles. Toes still do not bend. He was mean to me as if his mistake was my fault. The surgery was a total disappointment not to mention the painful recovery period. He should have told me there was the possibility he would not put in the implants. Afterwards he could have at least said he was sorry his treatment didn't work. And, he could have shown some remorse for the pain I went through.
