OMG!! I can't believe how horrible these people are!! Due to a really dumb move of not shutting my hatch completely and it leaving the interior lights on over night, I killed my battery!! I contacted the places closest to me, Meineke (right across the street) an NAPA (a couple blocks down the road), so clearly I walked to Meineke an they said they do not loan out their battery charger jumper thing (which is understandable) so I called them when I walked back home and asked if they would charge the battery if I brought it to them, a women said they don't do that, I asked to talk with the manager who was rude when he picked up the phone an didn't even say "hi" or anything pleasant but simply said "you can bring it down an ill through it on the charger for 3 hours but it's gonna cost you $44", I was so shocked by this, especially considering last year when this store was broken into it was us who gave the cops a discription of the cars we saw there that afternoon cause we live on a hill directly above them. We then called Napa, I spoke to the manager named Eric and he said "just bring it down and I'll charge it for you", I asked how much it would cost and he said "ohh I wouldn't charge you for that", I thanked him an I think I actually told him I loved him lol. Eric had said all of this before even knowing the situation with Meineke so it wasn't like he was trying to just be better then them, he's just naturally a nicer person! Also, because I had to walk the battery there, Napa said that if their delivery guy was still making deliveries by the time the battery is done charging that they would drop it off for us, such a huge difference and so incredibly sweet! I would've had no problem paying for this but $44 was ridiculous. We have gone to them many times just because they were conveniently close, anything from AC issues to the brakes and paid their high prices but will NEVER go to them again!! Considering the lady originally told me they don't do this kind of thing, I can only wonder what they would've done with the $44 they planned to charge me to simply charge my battery!
