I contacted Lightscapes via email in March in hopes to hire for a very large job. Mike Rigney was very eager to take on the job. I requested references which I was given (email addresses) and I checked and I also requested a portfolio or a few pictures. I was told that I would receive the pics in "a day or 2" and that was March 27. I've not heard a word from the company since. I submitted a review to the BBB was the owner Wendy Adkins replied stating that she tried to get me to contact the company via telephone and I would not and that she was unable to send pics due to a server being down and that sending pics of jobs over the internet may cause an issue with customers. I never had any communication with Ms. Adkins as all emails were between Mr. Rigney and myself. And no I did not provide my phone number to the company or contact them by phone. I was shopping around and don't care to have a company solicit itself or try recruiting business by contacting me. That's my way of shopping around and frankly it's my business how I put myself and my personal info out. I'm not the company that's trying to drum up business. Further more, if emailing pictures was an issue then that's all that had to be said and I would have completely understood but instead I was promised them so that's what I waited for and that's what I expected. Shady, unprofessional and dishonest.
