We can also provide the routine maintenance required on your new or leased vehicle to comply with the factory base warranty requirements. We also provide our own nationwide warranty on all parts and labor performed at All About Automotive. Our mechanics have been around a lot longer. Read on to learn more about the team at All About Automotive. Steve and Karen Johnston were raised in the Gresham area and attended local schools. Steve graduated from Mt. Hood Community College in 1981 with an Associate's Degree in Automotive Technology. His education has continued reaching the level of an ASE Certified Master Technician with designations of Advanced Engine and Under Car Performance Specialist. Steve's career began after graduation at McRobert Ford (now known as Gresham Ford). He has worked as a technician at various Ford Dealerships, on heavy equipment in Alaska and at an independent shop. In October of 2000 he opened the doors at All About Automotive. His dream was to build an automotive service and repair business in Gresham with a high standard; an automotive repair facility that customers can trust and be educated about the best way to repair and maintain their vehicles. All our technicians receive continuous education, since vehicles are constantly being updated. We sponsor interns from Mt. Hood Community College who are working towards their Associates Degree in Automotive Technology. Our current intern was awarded 1st place in The State Automotive Technical Competition his senior year of high school. We continually hire seasonal support staff that we typically recruit from the local high school automotive programs- another example of supporting the community.
