I've loved being a student at MLDA and the opportunities it has brought me. The top choreographers are brought in from SYTYD, and Shaping Sound. The only concern I would share is some favoritism that exists. A few dancers are allowed to bend the rules. For example, a dancer on company is allowed to take ballet classes at ONE outside studio to train for a specific reason. However, this same dancer has been seen training this season at several other ballet schools and intensives. It was made clear that this is not permitted, but exceptions seem to be made for just a few.
