John Funke, III, M.D., is certified in radiation oncology, is a physician liaison with the American College of Surgeons and is a fellow of the American College of Radiation Oncology. He received his undergraduate degree in physics from Emory University in Atlanta, Ga. He earned his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, S.C., where he also completed his residency. Dr. Funke is a member of the Self Regional Healthcare medical staff and is an MUSC Assistant Professor, Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology and Oncology.
