Dr. Lombardi hails from the Bronx, New York. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the College of Mount Saint Vincent, graduating summa cum laude. She attended medical school at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland and served in the Army as a physician for 16 years. Dr. Lombardi completed her internship and residency in Pediatrics at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington, and her Allergy Fellowship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington, D.C. She has been an investigator in clinical research on new treatment modalities for asthma and allergic rhinitis for the past 20 years and previously owned an allergy practice in Spartanburg, S.C. Her current areas of interest include sinus disease and the use of specific biologic therapeutic agents in the treatment of asthma and allergic disease.
