Let me offer a different perspective than the one given by Adalynn L.
I am a retired RN who has worked extensively in the Gastroenterology area of multiple hospitals with many GI doc.s. After moving to the Upstate - I spent a long time searching for my personal doc. / group who could fit my criteria based my working experience with doc.s I had worked with over the past 16 years. Dr. Gaines and the Gastroenterology Associates practice was my choice. I have never experienced any of the negative aspects noted by Agalynn L. and I have serious doubts many others have either. If the negative point expressed by Adalynn L were a significant ongoing problem - the practice would be a shell of what it is today. No one likes to experience what Adalynn L. claims she did. On the other hand - a bit of research shows that Adalynn L. YP post are all negative which makes one wonder if the problem is the businesses she reviews - or herself. There is nothing negative about "growing the business" by offering first class professional medical care and attending to patients needs - both by the physician and office staff. Everyone has a bad day every once in a while - and no one is perfect. Including Adalynn L.

Avoid. Too big-factory mentality. Refuses to check/verify insurance coverage. Front desk staffed by confrontational tarts that are abrupt & hangup. Billing is protracted. Getting lab test results is difficult.
Do not be fooled by "Open Access" approach.
