They changed a blown thermostat in 10 minutes and charged me $215. The repairman said the charge was 130 for the thermostat and 85 for "initial diagnostic fee" I was the one who told him what was wrong and what needed to be fixed, and I still had to pay the fee. And how much did mark up the actual part? It probably cost them $5 and they charged me $130. Way to treat your customers... do not use this company, you would save yourself a ton of money if you YouTube how to change a blown thermostat. If you mess it up, call another business to fix it.

The Eastergard team was trustworthy, professional, respectful, and delivered with confidence and assurance. George was especially trustworthy and everything an HVAC leader should be. He worked all day in the heat and still had a sense of a humor at the end of the day and spoke very kindly to his coworkers.

Called Eatergard to simply checkup on our existing gas fireplace system. They attempted to charge us a $69 travel fee. I understand this policy and was glad to pay it. However, they also wanted to charge an additional $69 fee for "cleaning the burners and pilot light", which in reality meant spraying compressed air on it for 10 seconds. I was appalled at this service charge and when I called all they did was lower it by $20. $50 to spay compressed air? Will not do business with them again.

Eastergard is a stand up organization. They do what they say they are going to do and are very fair when it comes to price. I would recommend them to anyone.

Air Conditioner Cooling Issues

The Technician from Eastergard was helpful and courteous. He arrived at his appointment when Eastergard said he would arrive and had no problems finding the house (at the end of a cul-de-sac in a small subdivision off of Hudson Rd).



He looked for inexpensive solutions to my problem first. Luckily the solution(s) ended up being of an inexpensive variety (more frequent change out of filters and opening of more vents). He did provide recommendations for my cooling disparities between floors (second floor always seems to be 8 degrees warmer than the first) such as dual units one on each floor but did not pressure me to select this recommendation.



The cost of the service call was well worth it!!!



I have recommended Eastergard to friends and I know of one who has called them for help. He was very satisfied with the services they provided.
