The cashiers are not professional. They spend more time yelling to their friends half-way across the store then they do concentrating on their job.
It's not uncommon to find items ring up at the wrong price. Then the customer service desk take 15-20 minutes to investigate the price discrepancy.
I prefer to drive another 10 minutes to go to Harris Teeter. Harris Teeter makes Food Lion look like a scratch and dent store.
