Stayed at the Soundview Hotel (2-1/2 rm suite). Found it to be absolutely private and lovely! Did not want to go home...would have liked to live there premanently. The rooms were very clean, the beds were comfortable (our room had a king sized bed and the other room had two twins). Plus the two bathrooms and bedrooms were clean, comfortable and conveniently private from one another. The kitchen was a bit dated but everything was in working order. Loved the sliding doors that led to a coverered patio right out to the beach. Convenient parking and very near to Greenport and most amenities. Don't forget to hang out at Claudio's on the wharf on weekends for waterfront live entertainment and dancing - It's the place to see and be seen and Very Romantic! We danced 'till we dropped! Enjoyed the gorgeous sunsets every day from our patio (and even got to watch a lovely medieval style wedding on the beach during our stay! Shopped the local farmstands and made a romantic dinner in our room which we thoroughly enjoyed on our beachfront patio overlooking the gorgeous sunset over the Sound. Would definitely stay again! 3-1/2 stars!
