I was told by a small engine repair shop I needed a new starter for my lawn tractor. Inquiring about the price of a new one I asked about used or rebuilt starters and was told that they could not be rebuilt and bought a new one. I asked for the old starter back and took it Green Bay Rebuilders. I asked them if these starters could be rebuilt, not only did they yes, he took and rebuilt the starter on the spot while I waited, for a fraction of what I paid for a new one.
