Green Bay Public Works Department provides various municipal public works services for the residents of Green Bay, Wis. The department delivers services, such as construction, repair, maintenance and cleaning of all highways, streets, culverts and storm-water drainage systems under the jurisdiction of the town. The department s engineering division is responsible for designing and supervising the construction of various public works projects. Its operations division maintains streets and alleys, flood control dikes, storm and sanitary sewer systems, bridges and collects and transports solid waste. The traffic division installs and maintains traffic signals, traffic-related signs and pavement markings throughout the city. Its parking system division enforces 24-hour on-street and off-street parking ordinances and collects revenues from parking meters.
