Edison Middle School provides academic programs with an emphasis on the development of basic learning and thinking skills. The school serves students in grades six through eight. Its academic curriculum includes classes in math, family and consumer science, social studies, music, reading, physical education and language arts. Edison Middle School administers the English Language Learners program. The school offers sports activities, such as basketball, cross-country, volleyball, soccer, and track and field. It maintains a library media center that has a stock of more than 22,000 books and over 30 magazines in English and Spanish. Edison Middle School is governed by the Green Bay Area Public School District, which additionally manages several elementary, middle and high schools.
