It was a VERY disappointing day after we picked up are dog from his grooming session. Our dog, a goldendoodle ( with a goldendoodle , it can be hard to cut style , as their are so many styles to choose from. ) So you need to relay in detail what you would like done.
Are goldendoodle has been here once before, with excellent care. His groomer did a excellent job and tried to groom him as best she could to my orders of how I would like his hair cut to be. We got a call to pick him up a little over two hours later, my husband and I loved how he was cut !!
Today, we waited and waited for the call to pick him up and it’s was SIX hours later !!! My husband picked him up and he couldn’t get out of their fast enough after seeing what they did to are dog !! It was horrific, just a HORRIBLE job the groomer did on him !! I can’t stress enough how bad he looks !! And this is after I stressed a week ago ( after I was asked by the receptionist how I’d like it cut ) when I made the appointment, how much I would like cut off and so forth . Today I played a video and pictures to the groomer of how I’d like it cut, or as close as she could get to it. Video and pictures were of the last time he was in, and the groomer did a excellent job .So of course we were expecting the same results !!
I’m asked by the receptionist a week ago how I would like it cut, and how much taken off. Today before the appointment it was talked about in detail. I get this dog back that is completely SHAVED!!!!! Yes you read right, completely shaved off !!! The groomer left just a tiny bit of hair on top of his head ( shaved all around it ) . Thinned the hair out on his ears , I mean really thinned it out on his ears, mind you his hair hair is shaved off all around his ears, neck, every where. So on the top of his head he has a circle of about a half inch and thin stringy long hair on his ears. He looks horrendous!!! I don’t understand why they ask you how you would like it cut ??? It’s SO bad !!!

Wow! All I can say is wow. The service here is absolutely AMAZING. We came in for a tour and then boarded our pooches three days later. The girl (Im am sorry I am terrible with names) was so excited to show us around, even when the women receptionist told us we came a half hour before closing (whoops). This kennel was extraordinarily clean, they clean they're kennels in between dogs, and she assured me that dogs never go in dirty or use kennels. Not to mention, the dogs are hardly in they're kennels! The all get plenty of run-around time! She told me that dogs go out around six times per day! My babies don't even go out that much at home! Not one kennel had any trace of urine of fesses. and all of the dogs looked like they were ready to go to bed, after a hard day of playing! During our tour, the gal was happy to answer any of my questions and concerns. Congratulations Canterbury Tails Pet Care Center! You have completely impressed me! Would definitely recommend to at least tour this kennel. Best in Green Bay, I would say.

We had used them for years for our newfoundland. The last time (and it will be the LAST time) he was there, they kept him for 9 hours. We dropped him off first thing in the morning and asked that we be called as soon as he was done. When they finally called and we picked him up, he had obviously not had the chance to urinate all day. The poor thing peed for minutes. When I asked what had gone wrong so that I could make sure it didn't happen again, I was told someone would get back to me. No one ever even bothered to call.

We've been taking our family dog here for years. It always seemed like a good experience for her. The past year or so, this business has been beyond a disappointment. Every time we went to pick up our dog, we would receive a lot of her food back, meaning that they didn't feed her the allocated amount she needed. This past time, she came home STARVING and raced to her food bowl. They accused her of ripping up her bedding when she has never done anything like that before. We've been overcharged multiple times. I'm not even sure if they have "play time" as promised. I don't know if it's the high school staff that is the cause of these issues, but it's extremely frustrating and heart breaking. After years of going here, I will never take my dog back.

This the best kennel and pet spa in the area. Our lab actually can't wait to go. When he sees us packing up his things for a stay, he is at the back door and wants to go now!!! The staff is caring and does a great job. Very personal service for your pet and you. I would give the ten stars if I could!!!

We have utilized Canterbury Tails for our lab since they opened. They are great people and take super care of your pet. I have used another very well know kennel, and was very disappointed. I got back a smelly, lethargic pet. My dog can't wait to go! If we say anything about going to "camp", he is at the back door, tail wagging and wants to go now!. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is a safe and clean place when your pet can't be at home. He loves play time. We have boarded there for an extended vacation, used the facility for daycare and also for baths and grooming. We have never been let down! This is by far the best kennel in the Green Bay area.
