I am so sorry for the loss of your police dog who protects officers for harm. The dog gave his life for the officers but unfortunately, someone forgot about him/her and it met a horrible, terrible death. I am sure the officer feels just horrible but hope just as civilians are punished for this and the officer is treated the same as an everyday civilian. We support our police department and dog. THe Brown County officers even helped me break a window out of a car when a dog was dying. I am so grateful for the officers, the K-9 officers and their service to our community. May the K-9 officer rest in peace and may the officer one day come to peace in his heart and soul. We are all just humans! Fondly, Chaya Kaplan, Manitowoc
