Maplewood Middle School provides educational programs to students in grades six through eight. The school supports several athletic activities, such as football, volleyball, cross country, swimming, basketball, wrestling, soccer, and track and field. It operates various organizations, including the National Junior Honor Society, MATHCOUNTS and Odyssey of the Mind. Maplewood Middle School organizes field trips, dance programs, spelling bee competitions and talent shows. The school s library stocks a collection of encyclopedias, dictionaries, textbooks, magazines, atlases, newspapers, and fiction and nonfiction books. It operates English, math, science, social studies, language arts and physical education departments. Located in Greeley, Colo., Maplewood Middle School is governed by Weld County School District Six.
