I'm a metal artist new to the area. I've been salvaging steel for my work for 30 yrs., including 20 gal. propane tanks that I re-use for making fireplaces and snorkel stoves. I spoke w/ 2 employees at Andersen's who were very friendly. They told me where to find the tanks and how to weigh in and out to purchase them. The man at the scales weighed me in. Unfortunately, after I'd spent over an hour finding, pulling out and loading the tanks in my truck, the same scale guy told me that I had to go put them back, and he wouldn't sell them to me because he said they were "pressurized", which, of course they weren't. So I dumped my load and left, never to return.

Every time you go through the You-Pull-It doors, the cashier smiles at you. The lot is organized into 5 sections (Ford, GM, Chrysler, Classics, imports) making it easy to find the vehicle you need. And the prices are nice and low, I've gotten a few small parts for free!5/5 from someone who used to always go to a different yard on 34.

Great place friendly people and fair prices.............
