The owner (Doug I believe his name is) is the rudest gentleman I have ever talked to. I called 3 years ago to reserve a room for my fathers 60th Birthday and they put us in this tiny room, which we were promised the large room. He basically told us to get over it. I just called to reserve a room for 17 people for my Mom's birthday hoping to get better service...yeah right! One of the ladies there told me they could only seat 17 people in their room but that it was booked at 5:30 so we could only get in at 8:30. I asked if I could speak to the owner about getting us in to the main restaurant. When he got on the phone he was immediately defensive and rude. I asked him if we could get into the other room (they have two rooms) and he said "what,do you want me to sit you on their laps"? I was in shock! I am a customer service manager and would NEVER speak to a customer this way. I am originally from Great Falls, my parents still live there and my brother. All are well known in the community and I will make sure everyone they know will not support that king of business attitude. When I asked the owner if he could sit us in the restaurant he said he couldn't push tables together...which I know he can...he just won't. I asked him if we just came in without a reservation if he could seat us and he said he would seat us all at different tables throughout the restaurant. By the end of the conversation, I asked him why he was being so rude to me and he said that I was asking too much. Too much? To seat 17 people in a restaurant? That's 17 people eating at his restaurant with a gauranteed good top! I eat there every time I go home but will never again. He needs to learn a lesson in customer service and kindness. Accomodate when its reasonable. Not worth losing lots of customers over I think.
