I firmly believe in the golden rule--treating others as I wish to be treated--with respect, honesty, genuineness. People are more likely to take care of their eyes and vision if they feel comfortable sharing information with their eye care provider, and they trust the doctor's judgment. I feel truly privileged when a person entrusts his/her eye care to me, so I feel a responsibility to do all I can to preserve their vision for their lifetime.
