I was referred by my pediatrician to Dr. Capelo to address my 1 year old son's mild leg asymmetry one year ago. After three appointments I will NEVER go back!! After waiting one month for the appointment I waited three hours in a tiny little room with no toys, no books, nothing to help a one year old try to not lose his mind in there. I tried to brush it off because it was the very first appointment and those usually take longer. The next one was six months later, just for a recheck. Only after I threatened to leave would someone come in. The next appointment, again six months later, I asked for the very first appointment. When they called to confirm we would be there, they didn't even tell me that they were in a totally different office! And again we had to wait for an hour in a tiny room and only when we said we were leaving would anyone help us. When I called to speak with the office manager about all of this I was told that this is normal for a specialist and to get over it! I have worked in the healthcare field for more than a decade and you do not treat people this way, especially young children! Please do not give your time or money to this practice!

Was referred here by my local pediatrician for my sons limited arm movement. Called to schedule an appointment with Dr Brown or Dr Capelo for a specific day of the week. Waited a month for that appointment, arrived at the afternoon appointment for Dr Capelo, waited almost 45 min to get called back, met with a nurse, then a PA, got an additional X-ray of my sons arm, and then saw Dr Gill. Was never in the entire time of being at the office alerted that Dr Capelo was "out sick" and that we would be seeing Dr Gill today. Have no issues with the Dr we saw, he was nice and informative, just a total lack of respect by the staff for my scheduled appointment and the Dr I thought I was scheduled with. Was also disappointed with the pediatric bedside manner-all the way from the PA to the X-ray technician. My son had one X-ray taken of the arm at the pediatricians office and did GREAT!! At this appointment, my husband and I had to forcibly hold our son down for several X-ray views with NO GUIDANCE from the staff....very discouraged after this appointment!!!
