I have been training at Del Saito's Martial Arts Training Center for about a half year now. I've checked out most other dojo's in town, and they seem very laid-back. If you prefer to have fun with your friends, talking and goofing off, I would suggest a different dojo. This one is only for the truly dedicated, and highly disciplined. No, they do not teach MMA, although grappling and groundwork are occasionally taught, and a basic understanding must be demonstrated in order to advance higher than the first couple belts. Traditional Okinawan weapon techniques are also taught. If you are looking for a no-nonsense place where you can study under one of the best martial artists in the world (Soke Del Saito- one of the 22 only certified Soke's in the world), then I would advise a visit. First few classes are free for anyone who wants to just try it out.

Developing character by training only the best athletes, (all others won't last very long) If you or your child wish to devote your life to helping create the schools legacy This is for you! Karate is after all all about service. There will be an oath of allegiance to owner and founder ( same man) required before advancing in rank. Very good morals, creator of many world champions. Only talented students will advance so these are the toughest people in the world. There is an open invitation to anyone who thinks they're better to try and prove it. You don't hear that in this day and age but the teachers have been around along time, a lot longer than that cage fighting nonsense.
