Great great fine dining restaurant in Granite Bay. The Duck Confit was amazing! The bignets with caramel sauce were also amazing. Huge wine selection and great service.

This is a 5 star dining experience in granite bay. It truly is service that makes you feel special and the food is excellent. I haven't ever had a bad dish. Their bar tenders are pros at their job. I was in the mood for a cocktail that was refreshing and she invented one of my most favorite cocktails of all time, only bummer, she made it up on the spot so it isn't something on the menu, but what a pro! The service makes you feel very special. A great special occasion restaurant or date night out!

We go here for special occasions. We have never been disappointed. From the drinks at the bar to the coffee at the end. The service has always been on point. The short ribs are my favorite! We have loved every dish we have ever ordered.

Great food and ambience. Love to eat at bar with my husband. Not really kid friendly atmosphere. Service is up and down but overall positive.

Best restaurant in the Sacto region. The food, the atmosphere and the service are the best that you will get outside of S.F. and Napa. Highly recommended.

We went to Hawks for our anniversary. The food was amazing, and wonderful service. But the best part was the great outdoor patio.

The service and food is amazing. The Hawk's Bar is wonderful and so is the Butternut Squash pasta. The menu changes frequently.

Brought my hubby here to celebrate his 42nd birthday. He is hard to please and gave this place a 2 thumbs up!

My husband and I had never been to Hawks before and decided to go for our anniversary. Our reservation was made for 5:30. When we arrived we were seated right away. The hostess that sat is basically put the menus on the table and walked away without saying a word. The restaurant was still kinda quiet and there were several empty tables. The kind waitress approached our table and got our drink order. Tables around us were being seated one by one. Our beverages came, we ordered an appetizer to share. Now is when it gets bad. Tables that were seated after my husband and I started getting their food, eating and then leaving and we STILL haven't received our dinner. At least 5 tables that arrived after us have now left and we still haven't seen our dinner. 90 minutes later our meals arrived. The waitress told us the kitchen got "hit" was the reason for the delay. She did offer to buy us an appetizer which was delicious. All the food was very flavorful but very small portions.

My husband and I love to go here for our anniversary and really any excuse. The staff is amazing and the food is to die for

We feel so fortunate to have a restaurant of this caliber in our area. The service and food are amazing. Everything is fresh, the chef uses fruits and vegetables that are in season. Hands down, their beignets are the best dessert on the menu. Love this place.

Quite surprised that Hawks' serves their $38 Filet Mignon with a BBQ sauce! Thank Gawd I asked for it on the side! They were very accomodating though -- they did prepare a Bernaise sauce for me that was superb. BUT, still, what's with the BBQ sauce?????!!!!!



We highly recommend this restaurant (as long as they will prepare a Bernaise sauce for the Filet). The food was delicious (except for the BBQ sauce on the Filet); the service was terrific (except for him bringing me a BBQ sauce for my Filet) and the ambiance was wonderful (except for THAT BBQ sauce for the Filet).



ATTENTION HAWKS: PLEASE GET WITH THE PROGRAM AND DON'T SERVE A BBQ SAUCE WITH FILET MIGNON..........!!!
