Western Michigan Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) is located in Grandville, Michigan, and offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults age 18 and older who are struggling with opioid use disorder. MAT has proved to be safe and effective in helping adults work toward recovery from an addiction to heroin, prescription painkillers, or other opioids. Those who take part in MAT at Western Michigan CTC receive a customized care plan that includes a prescription for methadone, Suboxone, buprenorphine, or naltrexone. The therapeutic component of MAT consists of individual and group counseling sessions that focus on helping adults improve their coping skills and prevent relapse.
