I was a single mom when I first started doing business with Elvins's in the mid 90's and, being as such, I truly appreciate that I was always treated with respect and never felt I was given any of the "honey you don't know anything" attitude that us ladies sometimes get from men in the home and auto service industry.

As for service calls on the ancient systems originally in my 1st and 2nd homes, the best efforts were always done to repair problems along with explanations of what was wrong and what needed to be done to fix it. When I would ask whether or not repair would be sufficient to keep us up and running without repeatedly needing more work, and in turn more service call costs, I felt as though I was always given an honest opinion. My first home had a gravity feed furnace with no central a/c - replacement meant full install of ducts and all, which they did wonderfully. After replacement my winter gas bill (for months with comparable weather) changed from nearly $400 a month to less than $100. We discussed prior to replacement that there would be a drastic improvement in effeciency, but that was so much more than I imagined. I attribute this, beyond just replacing a type of system that is inefficient to start with, to the excellent quality products used by Elvin's along with excellent installation and maintenance. The more than 20 year old system in my second home was also replaced by Elvin's just last year. Any time any of the crew were in my home they were polite, professional and left no traces of having been there, other than my problems would be gone. They have an excellent maintenance plan and anytime I have questions or concerns I have no problem getting answers. I will always use Elvin's and recommend them.
