10 out of 5 stars. A long time music aficionado, the owner is a stalwart of Grand Rapids, small business, indie & local music. As a teen I first met him at Vinyl Solution back on S Division near 36th St. He has always been a super nice person to everyone no matter who you are. I'm glad that out of all those to come and go, he is still here ready to help. If you are looking for something rare, imported, or just a really nice price, ask for Herm. If he doesn't know off hand, he may jump on the PC and check out something online with ya. If you need a recommendation, ask Herm. If you just wanna chat up about things in general, ask for Herm. Seriously folks, this tiny town owes a lot to this shop and Herm Baker. If you stop at just one record store in this hemisphere, ask where Herm has set up shop. Oh and yeah, there is TONS of vinyl.
