History of Omega Construction General Contractor in Michigan History of Omega Construction History of Omega Construction History Founded in 1947 by Harold DeYoung and Clarence Kraker, Omega Construction Co., Inc has served Western Michigan and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan with construction of distinction including institutional, as well as commercial and multi-family residential facilities. In 1991, Harold DeYoung's son, Chuck DeYoung, took over the reins of Omega, focusing the company on multi-family and commercial construction. In late 2006, Omega Construction Co., Inc was purchased by Frank Miceli and Roy Couch, Omega's long-term V.P. of Operations.
