Nye Uniform is Michigan's leading in-stock dealer of law enforcement, healthwear, industrial, fire/EMS, culinary, and postal uniforms. Nye also carries a wide variety of accessories and equipment for those professions - we are not just uniforms. Nye Uniform was founded in 1935 by Mr. John Nye. Originally located in the heart of downtown Grand Rapids, Nye relocated to our current location on the northwest side of downtown in 1998. Our new location occupies 18, 000 square feet with approximately 3, 500 square feet of showroom space for shopping. In addition to our store, Nye also employs a staff of professional outside sales personnel to service your needs on site at your department or business. In an effort to provide superior customer service to our healthwear customers, Nye Uniform ventured into the mobile marketing business starting in January 2003. Nye has dubbed our 34 foot unit "Store @ Your Door". The "Store @ Your Door" is a traveling storefront that is brought on site to your hospital, nursing home, or medical facility. The unit contains a large selection of uniforms, shoes, and accessories. "Store @ Your Door" is air conditioned/heated and even has its own fitting room. Contact Nye to make an appointment.
