Established in 1975, Community Automotive Repair was birthed out of a faith-based group formerly referred to as "The Community." Richard Zaagman (owner) first began in the early 70s repairing vehicles owned by members of The Community. Members of this group eventually became the first employees, motivated specifically by a collective agreement to trade their time for minimum wages so the majority of business profits could be poured back into the local neighborhood. More specifically, it was important to those in The Community to care for families who had the greatest need. The Community would later go their separate ways but not before transforming a backyard garage model into what would become the acquisition of a small Unocal 76 service station, and today an 8 bay Bosch Authorized Service center. Our specialties are minor and major repairs & factory scheduled maintenance on most import and domestic vehicles. It is a rare occurrence that we would have to turn somebody away for owning a vehicle we cannot or will not service. Some examples of the cars/trucks we routinely work on include but are not limited to Audi, VW, BMW, Porsche, Mercedes, Jaguar, Land Rover, Subaru, Honda, and Toyota. We are not exclusively a foreign service facility even though they do make up the greater majority of what is brought to us on a regular basis. Bottom line, your Chevy, Ford, Oldsmobile, Saab, and their domestic counterparts are more than welcome here. What customers experience that keeps them returning is a genuine, sincere, and caring team that strives to deliver only the best. Don't just take our word for it, we invite you to find out first hand.
