The Big Kahuna....although looks fun if you are on it, but not if you are a small boat in the water. We were anchored in a cove area when the big kahuna came and anchored very close to us....why? At one point the thing moved around very close to us and the captain was very rude, telling us it was us that we and needed to get out of the way. We were 2 boats tied together with 3 drag anchors..we were not moving. In fact, the fire department was also very close to us and neither of us were moving closer together, but here comes big kahuna to run us over. My suggestion to anyone coming close to this thing, is to get out of its way right of the bat because it does sway back and forth and the captain is rude. Don't get into a fight with the big kahuna if your a small vessel, its not worth it!!!

Best lake and marina in the DFW Area. Awesome boat club and excellent staff and management. All equipment is like new and runs great. I would recommend joining the boat club or renting from them.

This place is run by a bunch o...

This place is run by a bunch of crooks. They will find any excuse to steal your money.

When we visited this place hoping to make a nice little summer holiday, but ended up feeling stressed out and cheated.

When we walked in, we were warmly greeted by Bryan, the Boat Rental Manager there along with another lady. We wanted to rent a jet ski for an hour and were told that they would need a 500$ deposit and a major credit card before they would give it to us. We obliged and they sent us off a little before time so that we got a little over an hour that we were paying for. The equipment was okay and we had fun while out there. On the way in, I followed the instructions of the staff putting the jetski in reverse and cutting it off in time.

After we got off, Bryan's tone had completely changed. He pointed us to a little bumper on the jet ski where a river had come loose and a scratch on the front of the jet ski. He told us that they would be charging us 30$ for these little damages since they had to take it to the shop and have downtime etc. Remember the only contact that this jet ski made with anything was at the dock, under the control of their own Staff. I figured after all the fun, 30 bucks wasn't a big deal and didn't argue with Bryan.

When I went in to pay, the lady there went out to talk to the staff and came in saying the damaged were 100 bucks and not 30, apparently they called some place which told them it would be 100 bucks. I went out to talk to Bryan who comes in and tells her that 100 was for another party, ours was still 30. So she takes our credit cards and charges 30 bucks + tax for damages. Then she explains me that she would be refunding 470 back from the deposit. So we go, 'WAIT - something's fishy here'. She was trying to double charge us for the damages. We argue for over 30 mins after which Blake is called upon to understand the charges. Blake agrees with us that we are being charged 60 bucks, so Bryan changes the story to say it was 30 for the front scratch and 30 for the rear bumper while threatening to charge us the full 500$ deposit. We plead with him that we was changing his statement for the third time and he agreed to refund the 30 bucks fraudulently charged to us. We were saved from bigger troubles so far, now lets hope that the credit card activity reflects the same.

While we were going back and forth with all this, there were a couple of Europen tourists that came back from their ride, probably with a little damage from the tie-up again. The same guys who were supposed to be charged a 100 bucks, well they charged them their full deposits instead, 500 x 2 ie. 1000$ for some bumper damage. Later we heard a staff member say that one of the jet skis had pre-existing damage, so Bryan cut him off asking him to shut up and get the signatures he asked for.

In short this place is a huge SCAM that knows how to ruin a holiday. I highly advise you to steer clear of here. Find absolutely any other place to go but this.
