I have had the pleasure of being photographed countless times by Laurie. Seniors, boudior, engagement, maternities twice, newborns twice, and family pictures several times. She has never failed to deliver quality work while being completely professional. Even when my children were being terrors and it was a waste of time, she always came through and produced beautiful photographs. I have received so many compliments on the photographs hanging in my home, and I have made it a point to recommend her to everyone I know!

Past to present has done our photos for years including our maternity photos and newborn photos for our daughter and our son and of course our wedding photos they were of the highest quality and love working with her.

I have used Laurie for our family pictures over the years. She is one of the best... We have a large family and she did an amazing job!! I would recommend her 100%

I have used Past To Present Imaging on more than one occasion and have been absolutely blown away with her artistic abilities. I had my 7 year-old son photographed and explained that he was a "true boy" and she was really able to capture the true essence of this! I was also blown away by how easily she interacted with my son and how he was so comfortable with her. He was excited to pose the way she suggested and she even captured memorable candid shots of him. I also used Past To Present Imaging for our family photos a few years ago and these were also beautifully done! Moments that we weren't even aware were being captured were and are so touching to look at now. I recommend Past To Present Imaging to anyone who is searching for someone to capture memories and make them more beautiful than could ever be imagined! I will definitely use again and am planning to book a session shortly!

Laurie has taken pictures of my daughter, I was beyond pleased. We get compliments on her work all the time. She was so nice to work with, extremely talented, considerate of what I wanted, and very patient with my young ones. I can't wait to have more sessions with her in the future!

This Lady does the best work in town, I've had dealings with Laurie for many years, Her pictures are striking , I'm always amazed at the quality of the photo shoot itself! If she has declined any shoot there must be a very good reason, and its too bad that family members loss this bride the BEST PICTURES IN TOWN!

I've been working with Jim and Laurie for 16 years. I've had senior pictures, wedding, maternity pictures and soon baby pictures through Past to Present. I would never have trusted my wedding pictures to another company. I called Laurie 6 months before our wedding in Mexico and found it very easy to make arrangements for her travel, the payments for the pictures and talking about what types of pictures I was hoping for. Since I don't live in Grand Junction she really went out of her way to help me figure everything out. Our wedding photos are amazing and I could be more thrilled with the outcome!

So disappointing to get negative reviews like this from Leani, as I was really trying to be professional and kind in letting her know we were not a good match for working together, as I don't just take every wedding that comes along, we need to be a good match. Her father let me know early on that he wasn't pleased with my policies and wanted multiple copies of the production but didnt want to pay for them. I realized it wasn't a good fit for my business, this is my email to her.....

Laurie had done all my son's baby pics and toddler pics and she's great at catching his personality. She even goes on location to find the best shot!

I have used other photographers in the past and was always a bit disappointed with the end products, although they were "good enough". When I found Laurie at Past to Present Imaging I was excited. Not only was she very courteous and went out of her way to accommodate us with our wishes and needs (I am handicapped), the session was fun. My children don't necessarily enjoy being photographed, but she made it easy and they are excited to have more done. She was up front about the costs with no surprises. After our experience, Past to Present Imaging and Laurie Purcell will be the only photographers we use from now on.

I have used P2P on several occasions for movie transfers, photo shoots and video shoots. I have had nothing but professional service and quality results. I have turned others on to the quality and versatility of P2P's work by showing them my results, the P2P website and FB page. You will not see my name endorsing anything I don't believe is quality and I will continue to recommend Past to Present Imaging to anyone looking for quality/professional video or photographic needs.

I love this photographer. She is so fun to work with and she is great at capturing true personality. She has so great locations for shoots and is great at making your natural smile shine through, by making it fun. I used her for my wedding and and have a shoot scheduled for my girls. It makes me sad to see negative reviews from people who are mad because they expect something cheep or free. This company works hard to make sure you are completely satisfied with the work they have done for you. Respect that and their time. You always get what you pay for. In this case you get so much more. Definitely worth it. I wouldn't use anyone else.

This company is very good to deal with. I have been using them for the last 7 years and will not ever use anyone else as long as they are around. I love a family ran business. Laurie is always extremely professional and listens to what I want. Even when I don't know exactly what I am looking for, she always has a way of delivering! They are always AMAZING photos in a timely manner. Thank you Laurie for capturing our family moments!

I would not recommend this photographer to anyone. She is very rude and complains openly about customers on Facebook groups. She told other photographers in her area that we had missed many payment days when we were going to pay her the day we were dumped by her and she charges $15 dollars for copies of your own event on DVDs that are not copyable. With a family as large as mine I am not spending over 200 dollars on my memories. Luckily for me her deciding that we were and I quote "Clients from hell" before she even worked with us allowed me to find an amazing professional videographer in the area who was very professional, was happy to listen to our concerns without judging us, THANKED US for allowing him to be part of our big day and made immortalized my wedding day on video with tasteful transitions and amazing music choices.

I would not recommend this photographer. She was very rude. She had stated the best way to contact her was through facebook and she would respond quickly. Here is an example of a conversation between a client and the photographer.
