Our Story A Commitment to Service. In 1948, two Fort Worth businessmen decided to start a cleaning business, building a unique and innovative company that soon developed a reputation for high standards and reliability. As their market expanded, an idea formed to sell their unique hot-water recirculation cleaning systems through franchise opportunities, enabling people around the world to take advantage of their expertise and knowledge. In 1967, Steamatic, Inc. was formed to market franchises featuring their patented cleaning method. In October of 2006, Bill Sims, an executive with over 20 years of experience at every level of Steamatic operations, purchased the company and its subsidiaries from BMS Enterprises, Inc. Today Steamatic stands poised to continue its leadership in the industry and aggressively expand its franchise operations globally as well as here in the United States. Today, Sims serves as Chairman of Steamatic. Great work

I had a fire loss back in 2015, and I must say, I was very pleased with Steamatic. They took very good care of my family and made this loss as easy as possible. Might I add, my house looks brand new! I wouldn't want any other company to work side by side with me!

CAUTION

I am extremely disappointed in their services and would not recommend them to anyone. I recently hired Steamatic to remove my carpet after finding water in my basement. As they pulled up the carpet, black mold was revealed and I immediately requested to the two workers present and contacted the supervisor demanding that they refrain from disturbing it, informing them that I would have a proper mold remediation company come to safely and properly remove the mold. They failed to comply with my request and proceeded to wipe the black mold and lay the carpet back down over top, spraying toxic chemicals into the air. Due to their lack of knowledge and failure to follow direction, they released thousands of mold spores into the air which resulted in extensive property loss due to their negligence and lack of knowledge regarding mold. As a result I will also have to pay for proper duct cleaning since the entire house was contaminated. I became sick after breathing the contaminate air and contacted Steamatic to determine what was sprayed into the air, requesting that they send a letter informing what exactly was done and what chemicals were sprayed. Steamatic refused to explain what procedures had been followed and sent a letter informing me that there would be no charge for their services performed. I appreciate that they are not charging me for their services; however because of their actions I have lost thousands of dollars for contaminated items that must be thrown away (2 mattresses/boxsprings/mattress pads), multiple pillows, a sectional couch, recliner, decorative items, three book shelves full of children's books, text books, picture albums, dolls, toys stuffed animals and cleaning, not to mention the cost of replacing all carpet in my basement since they did not properly contain the carpet padding while removing it and contaminated all of the remaining carpet that had not been damaged.
