My boyfriend and 2 of our kids attend LTA and it is the best thing that has happened to them. The kids have more respect and more confidence from taking classes here. My boyfriend is a black belt and the boys just started a couple months ago. The training is incredible and teachers are awesome. Master Deminck is one of the finest out there. I have sat in on classes and just love the overall experience it gives to the family we all have there at classes and at home. We don't have just friends there, it is like a family. There is no price you can put on that. You definitely get back what you put in here and the proof is in the school. I can't wait til I can train and get my other 2 boys training in the near future.

My husband, 8 y/o dtr, and I have been attending Lakeshore TKD for the last 2 years. We all enjoy the exercise as a family, feel great after each class, and have moved through the belts levels consistantly. Lakeshore not only has kid classes, adult class, but also a family class that we can all do together. It's true...the family that kicks together stays together. My dtr has learned discipline, respects, and knows that you must work hard to achieve your goals.

My little girl has had a wonderful time at Lakeshore Taekwondo. The instructors were very kind, and took the time to teach her personally. Best school I've been to, and would recommend to anyone. Considering joining myself.

I am absolutely thrilled with the education I have received at Lakeshore Taewondo Academy. The instructors are the best of those I have met, and the facilities are the finest I have ever seen!



Master DeMinck is truly an world class instructor, with the ability to teach martial arts to ANYONE! ( He even taught me- which is saying something)



He keeps saying "The 10,000th time, it will be perfect!" And he was right! It took a lot of repetition to learn correct technique, but repetion is the only way to learn!



The last school I went to tried to get me to sign a contract till I got a Blackbelt- that could have been years! LTA let ME decide how long I wanted to be a member!



Overall, I am 100% pleased with my experience here, and would recomend it to anyone. You get out of something what you put in, and LTA always got me to give my best!

Sold to us as a great way to get child active -good for mind and body.



They do the same thing over and over again. Child no longer wants to attend due to repetitive movements over and over at each class. No variation. May be fine for adults, but not for kids.



Spoken with other parents and their child/ren feel same way and they stop attending, but have to pay according to the year long contract.



You will see kids so bored during class that they are yawning.



Hidden fees. Including for belt testing ($50 each time) and to join another national group. Have to go 1/2 step with belt and not full belt color-which means $100 additional for each full belt. Called other places around west MI and told they don't charge those fees.

I have been Training with Master Deminck for over 8 years now, he has always given me top notch training; as well as great advice on how to live my life. My sister is a 2nd degree black belt at a different school in the state, so I've had my fair share of experience with instructors in the state; and I have to say that Master Deminck is one of the best, if not the best out there.

This is the best thing I have ever done for my kids.
