I had a horrible experience, and this was all due to poor customer service. My several items were thrown into the smallest possible bag, hangers and security tags alike. When I got home, the security tag was still on the sweater I purchased, and the clothes were wrinkled. The cashier refused to take the hangers off my clothes and just shooed me out of the way to get to the next customer. She was rude and inexperienced in the ways of treating people with respect.



When I brought the problem to the attention of the manager, she insincerely apologized. I drove the 35 minutes back to the store and was given rude looks by the employees. One girl looked at me and said, "yeah, like she deserves coupons." What exactly does that mean? She tossed two five dollar coupons at me and told me to be on my way. The manager roughly took the security tag off so I could actually wear the sweater. Her eyes were glazed over, she was sighing, and seemed annoyed that she had to deal with me.



Anyone who has ever worked in a retail environment know that these things should never happen.

Simple facts:

1. The customer is not a burden.

2. Bag the merchandise with care.



The other bothersome thing that happened--there were construction workers outside fixing the store. The were swearing up and down over and over, saying the most vile things. When I told the manager, she said she didn't care and that there was nothing she could do. Why exactly couldn't she talk to them?
