In AZ with friends for the weekend, we decided to all have massages done at Azure. I have never had a deep tissue reflexology massage before, and it was rather painful for me. More importantly, my left hand became red, itchy and painful to touch. We assumed I was having an allergic reaction to the oil, but why only on one hand. Then I noticed the blisters. I went to see my doctor who diagnosed me with a first degree burn! I called Azure, sent pictures, and was told the owner would get back to me. After two weeks, I called again and the owner rudely said it was just a rash. I assured him a medical doctor said it was a burn. He sent me a text suggesting the massage had activated shingles. I contacted my doctor, who said no, it was a burn. I called back the manager told me he would no longer speak to me. She insisted it was not their fault as she trains everyone. Perhaps it was an accident but it did happen. I simply wanted a genuine apology. Cheap massage, definitely NOT worth the burn!

The two massages I have received were great but both people were a little too rough. The one thing that will definitely make me not return is the poor treatment of the employees. The employees all throw a fit if you don't tip them a large amount. With that nasty attitude when you're trying to go home, one can only assume that the owner is taking advantage of the Asian workers. They need to find new jobs.

I took my husband here for his birthday last week. First of all they do not do an intake form or ask you if you have any problem areas or areas of concern (which we both do). During my massage my masseuse never said a word and 3 times during my massage had be cry out in pain to the point I was in tears. I tried speaking to him but his reply was "no speak English". Um excuse me but if you are licensed to be a masseuse in this county you better damn well know how to speak English enough to know what the heck OUCH means and stop. I would never go back there and I should not have even paid for it. I was in shock when I walked out at what had just happened. I am so disappointed and I felt like crap the next day. Lets just say it was less than relaxing.

Love this place. Very relaxing and they always work out even the tough knots in my back. And I don't feel like the fact that they massage fully clothed makes any difference!
