Let me start with when you first move in everything is fine but shortly after is when the problems occur. The lease came up every 3 months and at this time the rent also went up and it is not cheap to live here. The man that lived upstairs was so loud and he was up all night. It was like an atomic bomb going off 10 to 15 times every night, when I spoke to the staff numerous times nothing changed and in the lease there is a noise clause. The tub was draining slowly and I called over and over and nothing was done until the water wouldn't drain at all and then it took days to get it fixed, I woke one night @ 1:30a.m. And the apartment was flooded with water standing in the hallway, bedroom, bathroom, utility room, and kitchen. I was up the rest of the night cleaning the water up with no help from the staff. (Which I called 2 times) The carpet was wet for days and I was told that they would come in and clean the carpets but they never did. Where they pulled the carpet up and put it back down the edges of the carpet were ragged and fringed and look awful. When the lease came up again the rent was going up again and I decided to move. Upon move out they give you a list of things that have to be done; I went down the list and did everything on the list which took about 5 hours to do. The apartment was cleaner when I moved out than when I moved in. After over a month I rec'd my deposit back less $30.00 with an explanation that they had to clean the carpet. The carpet was cleaner when I moved out than it was when I moved in because there were stains on the carpet when I moved in and I had to scrub then out on my hands and knees. When I called to ask for an explanation about why they withheld money out of my deposit I was told that they had to clean the carpet but it states in their own paperwork that you will not be charged for a standard carpet cleaning. Upon looking further into the situation I found out that they stated there were heavy grease spots on the carpet but this is totally a lie. I took pictures of everything in the apartment after I finished cleaning including the carpet in every room and you can see that the carpets don't have any stains like that. When I told them that I had the pictures they didn't even want to see them because they had no intentions in doing the right thing. WHAT A CHEAP OUTFIT AND HOW CHINCEY.
