Fossil Trace Golf Club, the new jewel in the Golden crown, has enjoyed tremendous success and in its short history is considered one the best golf experiences in the Colorado region. Both Golf Digest and Golf Magazine voted the club as one of the Top 10 new golf courses to play in the country in 2003. ESPN.com named Fossil Trace as the Best Golf Course in Denver in 2006-2008. The golf course opened to the public 64-million years after the first dinosaurs walked where holes 11 through 15 now sit. Triceratops footprints, as well as other prehistoric creatures' fossils can be viewed adjacent to the 12th green. "Teri," as she is affectionately called, is a life-size copy of a triceratops skull that greets you as you enter the clubhouse. Also located just inside the main doors is an exhibit that details the rich history of the property and shares information about the dinosaur tracks and other important fossils uncovered on the site. Whether you have 1 or 280 guests, we are just minutes from downtown Denver. Fossil Trace may be the ideal location for your next business meeting, wedding reception or golf event, so visit us online for more information, photos, fees, or to book you next event. Fossil Trace Golf Club is considered a premium golf course in Denver, Colorado. This public golf course has won most every award available locally as well as nationally. Fossil Trace Golf Club

Fossil Trace Golf Club is an excellant facility with a very friendly and helpful staff. The course stays in pristine shape, as the maintenance staff keeps the facility in beautiful shape. The course is very challenging and puts a premium on being able to keep the ball in play. The city owned course is a draw to guests world wide and encourages guests from the metro area to play the course on a regular basis.

Cool Course

This course gives us who are a little wayward off the tee some good bounces. The greens were smooth but very, very challenging. Scenic for a course so close to the city. Our group has a blast whenever we play there.

Great Course

We played this course last summer and had a blast. The course has a great look to the eye and fun to play. The greens were fast and smooth. Liked the variety of the holes and would not get tired of playing this place. The restaurant had great food and service after our round. This course is a must play!

A Great Golf Experience

Played this course last fall, what an exceptional golf experience. Turf conditions were outstanding, course has tons of character, a bit difficult - epecailly on the greens. Our group had a blast. Followed it up w/a steak dinner on the deck and bet on the players hitting into #18 green. Fossil Trace is now our favorite course in Denver.
