This is a great place for breakfast. Their Greek omelet (wife), breakfast special(me), and pancakes(me) are among our favorites. There are big picture windows and comfy booths--and a nice counter area with good looking and tasting pies. Juke boxes are at each booth. The waitresses are just the right combination of good service and mouthy. It is easy to get to (right off 309) and there is plenty of parking.

The food is fresh! Love the salad bar! The management is great and always sweet! I'm usually there for lunches during work!

If I could write no stars I would! My best friend came from out of town and I took her there for breakfast. I order home fries after eating some of them I noticed that there roaches in the home fries. I told the wait staff they did not seem a bit surprised! I also talked to mangement she took the home fries off my bill. Hahaha I was so angry you could have cooked a egg on my head! Never go to Glenside Micheal's for anything!

AWFUL!! AWFUL!! AWFUL!! Never go to Michael's Family Diner in Glenside. Their manager is very unprofessional, and their kitchen staff should be held for fraud. Tonight, my wife ordered Chicken Oscar that includes crab meat. When it arrived, she received crab CAKES dumped on top of the veal. It was nauseating and made my wife sick after one bite. She told the waiter and she sent it back. We had to leave since my wife was getting sick from the garbage they sent out as Chicken Oscar. The manager, however, instructed our waiter to charge us for my wife's cup of soup and her little salad. We told the manager this was very unfair and no way to correct the situation. He just kept smiling and repeated, "I don't give away free food. She had the soup and salad and that is $8.25." When I told him I was posting this story on line, he laughed. I hope the owners of this restaurant see this posting and act accordingly. This manager did a very poor job, as did the "chef" who sent out a platter that was advertised as Chicken Oscar. Don't go there. I will gladly post again and will let everyone know if the owners step in to rectify this situation. David [email protected]
